Default RE: Hitech?

I will switch to LiPos one day but right now I ve been flying the NiMh packs that are distrubuted by Horizion thru their EXPERT brand radio components for a year now in several of my planes and like them a lot. I am running the 6.0 volt 2700ma packs in the katana and will be in the CAPx (or maybe a DP 540---can't make my mind up) With 5 5925s and a JR537 on throttle I can get 60 minites of air time before needing to recharge at the field. Ive also started using the LED voltage indicators---i mount mine in the cockpit--- and will work all my control surfaces including spoilerones all at once before every flight and watch the LEDs' to see if any go from green to orange, if they do i will put the battery on charge. And i always before the first flight will check the battery under a load with my ACE voltmaster, I havent lost a plane or chopper due to a dead battery in several years now since buying and using the voltmaster but i have had to shorten my flying sessions a few times when the meter showed problems before a flight.
