Woooow chill guys.

Hobby - should be fun.

Whether this is or isn't hovering, at least it's sparked some ideas.

Jon I like the thought of reversing the thrust, intersting in a waterfall, blender entry, etc.

Now I'm no electric wizz, and thse small foam 3d models just aren't available over here but am I righ in thinking that to reverse the rotation of a brushless you have to swap two of the motor connections?

I guess these motors on the small models are only sucking sub 10Amps? If so what about using a servo to drive something similar to a small mechanical speed controler that swaps the motor wires? A double pole, double throw switch basically. This would have to be switched or mixed in on a different chanel but I guess could beachieved at under 25grams, possibly closer to 15g with a 4.6g servo, a couple of bits of cuircuit board and a nut and bolt.

I guess from this side of he pond I'll have to watch this space.
