Default RE: tx pack replacement

As a power source the NiMH's are fine in Tx's. It's also nice when the Tx has a low voltage alarm to keep you ahead of any *ahem* 'problems'.

What would worry me more than anything else would be the cheezey plain steel- pushed against plain steel springclip connection that a loose cell caddy usually uses in this kind of setup.

Ever have a flashlight that wouldn't work right unless you shook it and smacked it?

Plain steel contacts truly suck! As a temporary measure your rig will get yah by, but get a real pack and use a gold contact system connector as soon as possible.

Cheers!
