I used gorilla glue and was very pleased with the results. Since I have only done this one I really can't comment on one way or another.
My next one though I think I might try a different glue method just for cost reasons.
I used about an entire $12 bottle of Gorilla glue just on 2 wing halves.
From what I've read and from my entire 1 planes worth of experience, as far as quality of build goes you can't get any better than poly glue. Maybe equally as good but not better.
