Hit "reply" at the lower right hand corner of any persons post in a thread next to the "quote" button.
A new "reply" box will open with more options.
In the lower left hand corner you'll see "upload images". This dandy little option allows you to upload images already on your hard drive and automatically makes them "thumbnails" for you.
