The main needle has to be too lean if you're running hot. Although I do agree that the low end is too rich and should be leaned out, I also think you should richen your top end if you are running hot. An easy way to tune your engine is to adjust the low end till you get a quick responsive acceleration. Then adjust the main needle till your engine runs inside the temperature range specified by the manufacturer.
