Yup get new, There is a reason why the box has a seal on them, they were set up at the factory, and suppose to be able to run out of the box, w/ a few minor tweaks from you, it should fire right up. I purchased a brand new xxx nt, and a used one both excellent runners but the used one has well some use to it, like i need to get a new pull starter, as this one is slipping, other than that I got a good deal, and was very lucky. I have heard horror stories about people getting trucks w/ locked up motors etc from ebay.
