Default RE: ASP Engines...??

If you got them from Just Engines then you will not have a problem, these people are just the dog's conckers for after sale service.
and this is where my probelm started, JE first HATE with a passion Synth fuels, thats despite using it themselves in the performance figures.
So when i sent back my engine they claimed it was dry as a bone and it was the synth fuel that caused a bearing cage to break apart after 10, 4 min stressfree flights. i could have run the engine on water and sand and expected better bearing life than that!
the same has also happened many many times in our club on their "cheaper" engines, they would rather fob you off and give BS than stand by the product.
broken conrods on the first run, wrong fuel!
worn out engines sent for service within 2 years warrentty, bearings worn caused the damage, bearings only covered for 6 months, so engine isnt covered, sell you a new one -muffler and carb for just £15 quid less than advertised price ( carb and muffler are worth more than that ) then send the new engine and keep my old "to cover their costs", phoned and moaned, got it back with a print out of their rules "so theres no confusion next time" 3rd option on the list, you buy a new engine we send the old one back to you FOC
I'm not saying they do this with the more expensive engines but recently more than a few of us have been bent over and given a right seeing to over the cheaper engines. I agree JE used to be the muts nuts for service, don't know whats happened the past year or so.
