RE: Hostetler 33% Decathlon
Then take a look at the pix I posted a while ago on the Citabria, the new Citabria Explorer, which is one of the 3 different Citabrias ACA produces, and it is slightly different (improved) over the Bellanca.
One noticeable difference is the wing tip.
I talk CItabrias because it's basically the same airplane as the Decathlon, the most noticeable difference being the wing: flat bottom airfoil, larger wingtips and flaps on the Explorer (they don't exist on the Aurora and the Adventurer) as well as the absence of the central strut on the windshield, and a different spinner and prop.
Otherwise all is the same. Wheelpants, tailplane, fuselage, door, windows, wingstruts, cowl, wing chord, etc, son one can easily convert a Citabria to a SD and vice-versa.
But all the new ACA planes have slight improvements over the Bellanca models. Especially on the interior...
Well, will await your pix - if you have more than allowed on one post, try 2 or mores posts...
