It'll give you unlimited vertical. Run it in with a Master Airscrew True/Power Point 22x10, run 3-5 gallons of fuel with the recommended oil (lawnboy Ashless), then switch to synthetic of your choice, and switch prop to a Master Airscrew True/Power Point 24x8. When starting, do this" Don't touch needle setting from manufacturer, ignition on, choke on, throttle to half, flip til it coughs (noe it has fuel), then do: ignition on, choke off, throttle just above idle, and flip till it starts. Mount the prop so that you encounter resistance (compression) at the 2 oclock position, whe viewed from the front. Flip the prop on the tip, so you get your fingers out of the way when it fires. After the engine fires, let it idle for 1-2 minutes to warm up, then slowly advance the throttle to full throttle. If the engine hesitates or backfires or have to be nursed to higher rpm, turn the low needle out 1/8 turn and repeat. There is probably not much of a chance it is lean as it is new. When reaching full throttle, listen and if the engine reaches peak rpm, then drops in rpm the high is lean, richen the high needle 1/8 turn. Probably not much chance it is lean right now, but if rich at WOT, you will recognize the sound from the gloow engines. This is a great little engine, you couldn't have chosen a better first gas engine.
