Default RE: F-18 on e-bay

The company that owns the F-18 have been trying to sell it for some time now, they used to have an F-16A along with other Jets that i would consider Junk status. Along with flying, My business is leasing and financing Corporate and Commerical Jets, I would not do business with the people that are selling it. And assuming they get it to flight status for $9 Million, thats there least of there problems, who ever buys it here and wants to fly it in the US, will have an interesing time with the FAA, trying to get a C of A, and another point try and get insurance for a private F-18....

Also look at item 2460961703 they are selling for $10million

A Quote from that page
" The flight will take place at a sanctioned model aircraft field. We are looking for co-sponsors for these record attempts. For your contribution, you will be allotted a space on the ship for your recognition. Contributions may include any services, equipment, or monies that assist in the record attempts. The first record attempts fit within the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) guidelines and no FAA approval will be necessary. After establishing this record we intends to take our 20 ft tall 390 cu ft of helium ship (with FAA approval) to a new overall altitude record for a lighter than air ship under control. The current record is held by the Japanese with a blimp shaped airship with no power or control at 26,000 feet"

And the AMA have approved this ????? lol
