Default Keep it simple

I have been flying my c130 for about a year now,, ref other thread. My pics finally were deleted and a new thread started. I used 2 receivers, but not for reduncy but simplicity. I used one rec/bat for the wing, engines and flaps. The other was for the fuse. retracts, nose wheel steering, rud and elev. I did use dual elev servos, and 1/4 scale 120 oz for the rudder. Standard servos for the nose wheel. By using one for the fuse and one for the wing, I can remove the wing and do all work, testing on the bench and also with the fuse apart. What it does electrically is remove the connection that occurs when you X the wiring. X ing is having wires all through the wing and then the fuse When this is plugged to the receiver and only 1 is used you enhance your possiblity for glitching. By keeping 2 systems electrically apart it is much simpler. I also ran one rec antenna along the top of the fuse and one on the floor.

This has been glitch free for all 22 (8 minute) flghts. So I have about 2+ hrs in the air time and not a glitch.

I considered multi channel for engines etc,, but just too much complexity. I have flown engine out on flt # 4 and with proper mixing it was a normal herk landing.
