The OS liners peel just as readily, it seems, in the UK as they do in the US. The point is that now there are more choices at less cost.

I have moved away from OS and have a selection of MVVSs and APSs that perform equally well if not better, and don't self-destruct in use. The APCs are around half the cost of OS engines and are readily available from Just Engines. The MVVS are similar prices to OS and are superb examples of model engineering.
