Did the stab flutter because it was to weak or was it because it had a 2 stroke cranking on a 6 pitch prop creating far more speed than a 3D aircraft is designed for? We know that speed and these aircraft do not go together well. I have to wonder if we fully balanced the controls on these aircraft if flutter would be less of a problem. That is how we keep the the flutter monster away on the full size birds. My guess would be the damage was done by the flutter not the other way around.
