Hi Gene;
I use a JR 3000 ma pack in my AV8R, and have 7 JR 8231 digital servo's plus a mini servo on the smooth stop brakes.
Am also using a 3300 Ni Mh pack for the PST turbine, as I needed the nose weight, and used the large packs instead of lead.
