I would add to Matt's suggestion about thinning the clear 200% (I finally worked up the guts to do this) that you should also add a moisture filter right before the gun in case those spots are the result of water in your air or if moisture isn't the issue you may want to adjust the pressure down, or the distance that you hold the gun from the work surface in case you are putting the paint on too dry. Clear is definitely the most demanding "color."
