One thing about an LA-40 is that it's a very light .40 sized engine. Not that light weight is a bad thing at all, but you might run into some balance problems, especially with an ARF. And I have to second ifixairplanes opinion of the LA, mine flip starts very reliably and runs like a clock. It is a little down on power compared to some of the other 40's, but I've flown out of a couple stalls with it so far.
