OK Italian Flyer, do not practice but keep playing on the Realflight and then whenever you can, take your plane to the field and play with it repeating what you did on the simulator. Keep playing a lot on the field and you will find you can do the hovering and torque rolling easily. You call it playing and I will call it practice. As long as we burn a lot of fuel, it doesn't matter what we call it.

Pizza,

Your earlier post regarding stick exercises in the dark is very helpful. After practising as you outlined in your post, I tried it on the Realflight to nail the slow rolls and then rolling circles. One thing I find very helpful is as follows:

Take one of the 3D Top Cap or Extras downloaded from the net and reduce the time multiplier to 60-70%. This slows the plane down, giving more time for reacting and appropriate stick inputs. Then I go to the view menu and put the pilot position behind aircraft. This way, while flying slow rolls, I can see the result of the control inputs very close to the aircraft and polish the stick inputs to make the planes movement smooth. Its great for hand-eye coordination. I can aim for a point on the horizon to ensure that the slow rolls are axial and the plane follows a true line. I am slowly increasing the time multiplier back towards 100% as my skills improve.

I found the above helpful, hope others will try it and send their inputs.

Cheers!!
