I have a Triton also. I was using a 7AH gel cell at the field but killed it after a short time. I decided on a lawn tractor 12 volt battery $25. from the auto parts supply store and a car battery charger also $25. Besides the fact that I am charging a battery to charge a battery, it lasts a long time between charges, I use it at home instead of buying a regulated power supply (good ones are not cheap) and I have the car charger in case the car battery goes low. Also as was stated above it a very stable source of power for the Triton.
