You will need :

. Rotary tool
. Fine Grinding kit
Use a bit that is
small enough for
you to work in the
tight corners of the
ports.

. Polising Wheel and polishing compound
. Masking Tape
. Permanent Marker
. Air filter mask
^ metal particals will fly everywhere.

Part 1. Remove the sleeve.

I'm sure you know how to do this.

2. Note port direction -

Look at the inside of the sleeve and note the bevel on the upper
sides of the ports. You will modify the sleeve on the outside by grinding
a simaler bevel on the ''square'' edges of the port.

3. Mark The ports -

When looking directly at the exshaust port, notice the two intake ports: one on each side of the sleeve.
You will grind the sides of the ports as detailed in the steps to come.
Begin by placing a piece of tape 1mm away from the edges, both on the
bottom and side, and use the permanent marker to color the exsposed 1mm gap.
(this will mark the limit of how far to grind)

4. Get Grinding -

With the fine cutting bit installed, grind away the
black area that you marked with the marker. Hold the tool at an angle that
matches the angle you noted inside the sleeve. Don't push hard with the grinding
tool, as the sleeve material is soft. ** IMPORTANT - Only remove little bits at a
time, you want it to be a straight edge but at the angle it was befor grinding.**.

5 Polish the new edges -

The raw edges of the ports will prevent gasses from flowing smoothly
as a finely finished surface would. Polish the new edges by placing the
sleeve against a polishing wheel. With a fine buffering compound on the
polishing wheel, slowly polish the ground areas till smooth.

6. Finished! -

Reinstall the sleeve and shim head. ** IMPORTANT - You MUST retune the engine before using for max proformance**.
