Richard, thats exactly what I found and I'm doing much the same to solve the problem. If I recall the instructions correctly, the construction is not as Bill describes it - you assemble the sides and formers and top and bottom and glue the whole lot with thin CA upside down over the plan. Bill, BTW I'm in South Africa so kits, let alone replacement parts are very hard to obtain.
