Yeah that definately works, but I bet it's going to be hard on your pump refilling it. My almost brand new pump died. I believe it was from filling my one gallon container up so many times. It does take a little while for it to fill. If that cap isn't sealed, couldn't you just use a funnel? Maybe pinch the lines while you fill. Just a thought...
