if you take your antenna out of your TX it will last 20x longer. at least does on my JR xp622. my 8103 lasts about 10x longer.

just an FYI.
STLPilot, if the RF circuitry is disabled by the adaptor, there will be no need to remove the RF module, xtal or antenna. Removing the antenna while the Tx is actually transmitting will only hasten the damage to the RF output amplifier by overheating it. Many people who use the same Tx for running flight simulators and flying their actual models do not realize that they may have reduced transmission range due to damaged RF circuitry. Please be aware of this safety issue while using your Tx on any flight simulator. FWIW
