Oh yeah, regarding the original question, I assume when you said a clip, you are using the type with the prongs that grab onto the pole and the head, commonly used on cox engines and norvel airplane heads? Your going to need the other type that has the little fingers that grab onto the sides of the plug, and can reach down inside the head. Don't get the kind that turns to lock onto the plugs, that's what I have, and it doesn't work very well on the norvel type of plug.
