Default RE: Alpha Trainer 60 Or Arrow Semi-Symmetrical?

If you have an instructor I would go with the Arrow..

I Made my first 5 flights with the club trainer.. But club rules prevent landing
with club trainer.. So I was looking at the alpha or sig senior.. stable and
slow.. But since I was doing good, I started looking at the Arrow.. Don't ask me
why, but I ended up getting the Avistar 40 with an OS .46... I love it!! And it
flies better than the club trainer, Plus I can stay inverted with control.. But you
do have to keep the speed up a little more then the so call true trainer for
landings.. We have a fenced paved field at the club, And on my last "corded"
landing, I found out the hard way that the "semi" will not be as stable as the
flat bottom at low speed.. Luckily I only had a small indentation in the L.E. of
the wing and a small tear on the bottom of the hor. stab. from the top of the
bush in front of the fence.. Yes my instructor said I was to low and and slow
and he was going to take control.. I yelled back.. NO.. I got it... I did.. the
bush... But a little scotch tape and I was back up.. The next couple landings
was "hot" though, causing me to touch and go.. But I'm getting better

I think you'll love the Arrow!!

Have fun.. Be SAFE.. And the wheels should be the only thing touching the ground
