Default RE: arf To Build

I am sure you can find some-one, here in Orlando fl some of the guys
will do this for $100 to $150 which for 6 to 15 hrs is not bad. However
the few hours spent hence the term ARF is well worth it since you become
very familiar with the aircraft and it allows you to do a few "tweeks"
and improvements such as hardware changes a little beef up etc
If somebody has a physical disabilty not allowing them to do this I know some have been done for them without charge. Some of the trainers out
there are "almost shake the box and its together" like 30 minutes and no glue. Of course some of the pro folks pattern, acrobatics, etc will pick up
a completed aircraft that may be 4000-$7000 for comp and probably
sponsered but thats not the case with 99% of us
I am not faulting you for wanting a "turnkey" aircraft but do think
you are missing some of the fun in this hobby. I have about 15
arfs nad if it was a scratch built thing it would be 1 or 2 (and yes
these guys are good but that not my thing) not that much patience
Also I do not consider myself a "builder" I assemble, also the term
ARF in reality is prefabrication I am sure some ad guy came up with that term
