first, You need to finish repairing the gear mount

Fill in that gap in the fuse side, and you may want to lay some fiberglass cloth on the gear mount inside, around the mount seams so it wont be so prone to separation again from the shock of landing. Epoxy the Glass cloth.
Sand everything smooth that you'll be covering to.
That Ultra stick is covered in Ultracote Transparent yellow. You may want to cover in solid yellow to hide the scars... Anyway.. Choose your covering, Get a monokote iron if you dont already have one, get your scissors, and xacto blades ready.
Cut yourelf a nice square peice o' covering a little larger than the repair (about 1/4" overlap).
Peel off the backing on the covering.
Set your monokote iron to medium heat, place the covering where you want it, and tack down the four corners of the new covering.
Now, iron over the entire patch surface 'till no bubbles, or seams (where oil can soak into), are apparent. Stop covering when you are satisfied.
Remount your gear.
This should get you fixed up. Good Luck
