Don't worry about troubles with covering. My girlfriend just recovered an entire Stik. She had no experience (neither did I) and it came out great! My gallery has pics of her "ladybug". My neighbor showed us/ her how to do the top side of the wing, but that was it. Everything else was pretty straight forward.

Follow the advice above, make sure to go slow and you'll be fine. Good luck!
