If the battery is 600 Mah and the Charger is 50 Mah, then if the pack is drained, it would have to charge for 16 hours.
Or, to be more accurate, 12 hours.

The book will say 14 to 16 hours for the first charge, and then up to 12 hours to recharge depending on how much you flew... if in doubt... leave it on charge from dusk to dawn. (Well... not in Alaska in the winter
that would be 22 hours in some places...)
Its hard to overcharge with the wall-wart if you just put it in charge while you sleep the night before going to the field.
