Default Us 60--wahoo!!!!!

Gather round guys and girls,(if we got any girls here!) and I'll tell you a story of happiness and delight!!
Took out my new MDS .78 powered Ultra Stick 60 today for the first flights---my header comment definitely applies: WAHOO!!

I have had issues with this planes' assembly(had broken ribs, repaired--warp was built in wing, Horizon replaced wing no prob--2'nd wing had MORE broken ribs than first!,--repaired IT, had to make hatch behind wing to move battery pack to get CG 'kinda close, yada, yada, yada!!)

Anyway, with an engine that had about 3/4 of a gallon of fuel run through it on the bench, and that I still am running pretty rich---this combo is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!

I'm talking straight up rolling literally until you almost lose it, (would have lost it, if I did not pull power and stop the vertical)starts AND stops rolling exactly when you tell it to.
Drop the flaps, and it crawls in to a landing---pop up the ailerons w/flaps in quad mode, and it is like tossing out an anchor!

Only needed a couple of clicks of "up" trim,(still a tad nose heavy, guess I will have to add some weight to the tail, ) and a click of aileron trim.
I got three perfect landings, out of three flights, and just could not believe how great this thing flew!!

I am a VERY HAPPY camper, after being such a pain to get to the flying stage, it is a super flying plane. GET ONE, YOU WILL LIKE IT!

And I know a lot of people have posted all kinds of comments about the MDS engines--all I can say is that my .78 has wayyyy more than enough power for the US 60, idles great, transitions great , I love it!!
I think spending the time on the bench with it really helps, I can hardly wait to see the oomph it has, once it is leaned out a little more as it breaks in.

I'm feeling MUCH better now!!!
