I went to the local flying club airfield this morning and looked at more planes than i can remember there names including a couple of helicopters.I met some really nice people out there and enjoyed every minute of it,AND i was asked if i wanted to fly and you know what plane ?it was the hobby 60 and a really nice plane.I was hooked up with the buddy box and after it was in the air i took control, now that was a real good feeling, the instructor took over i think 3 times, maybe 4 but that was all and the reason was he felt i was too close to the ground in case he had to take over in case i messed up,i did mess up a couple times and was glad he was there but afterwards he told me i did a great job for my first time which made me feel good. When i took over the controls, there were three other planes in the air but it didn't take long until i was the only one out there, lol. Finally this guy showed up with a new Nexstar and i just had to watch it fly and he gave it to an experienced flier and he took it around a couple times but decided it needed a few adjustments so he brought it in and after the adjustments ther were in the process of connecting a buddy box but it was time for me to go.I had the chance to fly one i'm interested in and the nexstar ?,it's a real nice plane and i wasn't disappointed but i think i want either the hobby 40 but leaning towards the 60 but it will take a few more trips to the field to really make up my mind. There a great bunch of people and i have a chance to fly several different ones so who knows what i'll wind up with.It was a good day while it lasted but i have "other dutys" my wife says.
You can fly as long as you want but don't forget where you live.
