hi guys i know this may sound stupid to some but here goes....

brushless motor r very efficient. so much so that they can be geared alot harder compared to a brush motor. therefore the best method (well for me anyway) to check if the motor is running at it's peak is to use your hand. if u could hold the motor for ever without pulling ur hand away, u probably undergeared it. try another 2-3 teeth up on the pinion, as long as u can hold the motor for more than 6sec without pulling ur hand away u r save. once u got the pinion rite, use the spur to gain more top end or pick up as spur does not effect the ratio as much as the pinion. normally i just stick to the same spur.

this way i normally found that i still have all the pickup i want with the additional top end. it so much so more important in off road as u want to hit the gas as early as possible without getting to much wheel spin and this happen alot to my fellow peers as they undergeared thier cars.
