Yup, today my dad and my cousin went to the filed, an instructor inspected it, and then flew it. Even though its free my dad gave him $10. Turns out he was the president of the club, and of course didnt let me fly it, he knew i didnt have AMA and that it was my first time. I screwed it up. He told me to go get a buddy box and cord. I was PISSED, then I just packed up everythin and left, because I knew i could fly it. On the way I made my dad stop at a developing neighbourhood (nobody there) and we stopped at a medium sized lot with trees on the sides but it formed a square of nothing in the middle except for alot debris and bricks and rocks on the ground. My dad and uncle were saying to just do it and get it over with, they "knew" i would crash it. I laughed, got out of the card, started that thing in one turn, full throttle just before a mound of bricks I lift it up like a wall, and there it was flying, I slowed it to half throttle, made some tight turns, got the plane towards me (its a habit i learned with the sim...) and behind me was the car. My dad got scared and told me to LAND NOW!, i was like holly CRAP!!, the plane went just over the car, ALMOST into a palm tree, and i put throttle to low, did 4 turn, going up and down, in circles (over the lot) until it got slower, then landed it flat parallel with the ground across the street of the lot, and it barely hit a tree which stopped the little cone of the propeller . My dad and cousin were amazed, cant beleive it, and the plane intact. I just had to fly it today....
