Thanks guy. I was about to do a low high speed pass when I saw something fall off the plane to the ground. I thought it was the canopy.
I bank to the right to make an emergency landing. That's when i knew something was wrong. My right turn did not turn the plane the way it should. The jet started to go away from us. So i started to use the rudder and it started to come back in sight i drop the first position flaps and the jet started to go inverted and into a dive. I put back the flaps to 0, to level the wing and pull out of the dive. I got back control of the plane and i say "thats it i am not trying for the runway - anywhere is good". The jet landed close to the runway with only a bent strut. Glen and i went to take the viper back to the tent and was shocked to see what happened. The whole right side horizontal stabilizer tore off with control surface and servo. So to answer your question that's a good flying jet. If i knew what happened i would have given up a long time ago. (lov2flyrc we spoke to TAM and it seems the builder was at fault. Hey mike you did a good job with your F16 when your canopy fell off too.
