Default RE: THE END OF RC

So you had a brain fart, we all do......We are only human.
You have experienced what a lot of full scale pilots experience. I known some pilots that once they got on the ground, could never go near a plane again because their relapse in not performing a procedure correctly scared themselve sensless. Some wait awhile and then go back up with an instructor just to get their confidence back up. I know when I did something scary (ie: stupid), I tried to go over the procedure again with an instructor so that I was better prepared in my mind to be able to handle the situation again. Give it a few weeks. You obviously don't want to give up RC cold turkey or else you wouldn't be here on RCU. If you don't trust your abilities, have a instructor fly with you on a buddy cord. I've done this with a few of my warbirds because I was too nervouse to perform the checkride solo. Just don't try to hastly sell everything off and try to forget you ever did anything with RC. You will regret it.
