I loved mine - lost to a mid-air (hit from underneath and popped the two wing bolts. Atomic Lawn Dart). It is a pleasure to fly. I had an OS 70 II and converted it to a tail-dragger. Whether it is a good second will depend on how you use it. It lands very predictably and is stable, but goes exactly where yor point it and will not correct itself for slight attitude changes as a trainer does. If you take it easy for the first few flights and use low rates you should be fine.
