I have been flying the USL120 for several months with a brison 2.4 on the nose ,the servo's and the receiver battery has to go in the tail Fuel tank is under the wing to make room for the ignition and battery in the nose . I'm running an 18x10 prop but there is very little ground clearence. beef up the fire wall and wing mounts .
now for the answer your looking for yes it flies great unlimited vertical or should I say more like a rocket with flaps it can still land very short and same for takeoffs .and it was just under 12 lbs. I have not had any problems with this set up and this is now my favorite plane I never go flying with out it.
