first of all: i did never start my engine (with AECU) with airstart. of course however the "old" airstart ECU.

i called PJ, who helped develop the new AECU. he explained as follows:
first switch to "Gas run".
next glow plug from an external source
then manual air (scube bottles or fan)
next manual propan/butan

kerosin shut off valve should open automatically as does the kerosin pump.

important: you must not move the throttle stick forward/back. if you do so, then the AECU reacts with error messages (BTW when you disconnect the starter the error message "bad glow" comes because you use the same minus for glow as for the starter motor).
