I think RCIGN1 has measured 17-lbs of thrust on a spring scale with a G26. If thats the case your model can weigh as much as 8-9 lbs...getting closer...
I saw that post, but other numbers I have seen are much lower than that, down around 11-14 lbs (depends on prop and how hard you want to work it.) So at 2:1, 6-7 lbs is about right. Personally, I think 2:1 is overkill even for 3D. Better than 1:1 is all you need.
