Coleman fuel works quite well. I agree with Clarance Lee on the fact the octane ratings on this size engine is meaningless. It will run as well or better on the lower octane mixes. I personally use as much oil as I can without fouling the plugs, usually about 30 to 40%.

Moderator's note: He apparently means a ratio of 30:1 (3.33%) to 40:1 (2.5%) oil. This has caused a problem in this thread so far. Some of you have not picked up on this error while others have become frustrated about this fact. --- Jim
