RE: real flight g2 help
I don't think you will be dissapointed with the LMH's flying charicteristics...
The fixed pitch models in G2 have some major issues. I think the LMH is sort of simalar to the schwizer (sp?) or maybe the impala, much more so than the finch or watt not. The LMH has the "light" feel of those fixed pitch models, but they handle more like the CP birds. The big diffrence you will see between the CP models on G2 and your real LMH is how sensitive the collective control is compared to the LMH.
Personally, I can fly my real LMH much better than I can fly most of the heli's on G2. Probably because real life is..... well.... more real. Also, I find myself bliping the throttle quickly when I want to make rapid attitude/altitude changes, because you have to build up headspeed to get good cyclic response. (Its sort of a trait of the fixed pitch design) I tend to carry that over onto G2 and its bad news on CP birds because bliping the throttle on those send them rocketing up out of control. Its just one of those things you have to adapt to...
Anyways, I taught myself how to fly heli's with the old dave brown flight simulator. I got an LMH and when I first flew it, I could fly it pretty well because I'd allready developed the coordination and reflexes to fly the heli, so buying a simulator is a wise move for any beginning pilot IMO.
