There is not much difference between the Irvine 53 and the Irvine 46. The 53 is 13.91 oz and the 46 13.74 oz so nothing in it really except the 53 is 1mm taller due to the stroke. I do not have a UCD but would agree the 53 should make a good combination.

I have a GP Super Sporster 40 with an Irvine 46 and it flies beautifully. Worth considering. Should be awesome with the 53.
