I have a mini DF and just got a 2cell etec 1200.

It's pretty much a stock bird, and will fly for about 15 minutes until slightly sluggish with tail control. I do not want to run the lipo down anyway, and my motor gets pretty hot.

This setup works WELL for me. I'm afraid to fry my FETs if I use the 3 cells :-). Others have tried and succeeded, while others have failed.

Perhaps I will get a kokam 2 cell 1500 pack later on...I've heard great news about them as well.
