Default 1 Negative thrust (what is this)

We more commonly refer to "Downthrust" than negative thrust. The engine is mounted such that in level flight attitude the crankshaft points down a little. Some planes need very little, some need up to 12 deg of downthrust. (a couple of designs need up-thrust.)

We also commonly angle the engine a little to the right, to couteract torque turning efects.
