The CG discussion became a bit complicated. I was merely asking about how mounting the tank over the CG would impact flight characteristics as the fuel drained. Joe provided a good explanation. LL I like the idea of mounting the tank a little forward of the CG until you feel comfortable with how it handles. This is what I would do if it were me, though as Joe stated, this plane will make you look good. I just wouldn't want to take any chances on a plane that has never been flown. No two airplanes are exactly alike from my past experience.
