Default RE: Answer for ignition experts

The cost?
don't know yet - It is actually the standard ignition which comes on a new engine -
But- it uses a standard Hall switch pickup - and has a detachable high tension lead - designed to accept different leads which have other sized caps. the connector is much like a co- ax cable connector .
That is really a nice touch!
The specs call out 30 degrees auto advance .
Power connector is JR compatable.
The read out LED is on a long pigtail -for easy mounting.
It all looks to be easily adaptable to just about any engine.
Again -I have not done the hands on test.
I have no reason to doubt that it works - just waiting for the actual test.
The factory has not done any press release yet -that's why I have not given their name.
I thought it is a big step up over anything on the ignition market - and wanted to see if others felt the same.
I plan to useit on the new engine, as well as adapt it to one of my single 80's.
That will only require a magnet to be added to the hub ( reversed polarity use).
I already have the engine mounted in a Chip Hyde Cap.
(Chip flew my Dalotel's back in the 80's - now I am flying one of his!)
Ain't life grand?
