Great pictures, Kevin. Sorry to hear about your loss. Been there many times myself. Guys, are we talking about the same engine? I think Kevin was using a 91FX. LL you are using a four stroke 91FS. Just wanted to keep this straight.

The CG discussion became a bit complicated. I was merely asking about how mounting the tank over the CG would impact flight characteristics as the fuel drained. Joe provided a good explanation. LL I like the idea of mounting the tank a little forward of the CG until you feel comfortable with how it handles. This is what I would do if it were me, though as Joe stated, this plane will make you look good. I just wouldn't want to take any chances on a plane that has never been flown. No two airplanes are exactly alike from my past experience.

Roger...i was using a surpass II .91...it was ok...but i can't wait to try the YS..!

i have never seen one of the 110fz motors, but i am sure that my 120A/C is probably several ounces heavier just from what i have read...

but i can always just mount my pull-pull closer to the tail to compensate...as i am sure i will be way nose heavy...maybe i can ask mr. shadel about the weights...

i have never seen any BHP figures for any of the YS motors...like it is a closely guarded secret or something...but i have to say that from firsthand experience with my little ys63..i would bet money that it pulls harder than my 91 surpass ever did...if i can afford to, i will never have any other glow motor but a YS from now on...

there is a local TOC guy here that has an old trashed ys 120a/c like mine on the huge aerowoks profile...and it hovers that 13 or 14 pound monstrosity with ease! and it has an estimated 50 gallons of 20% thru it...yes..i typed 50 gallons! without rebuild..but it is about to need a new front bearing...it is the most impressive glow motor i have ever seen...

i will try to get my u can do in the next week or so and then get some action photos and video...i got a cool new video card from the in-laws that allows video capture...so i got to learn how to do it..but maybe i can get some vid and sound for youguys....
