im guessing you dont have any kids, right ? punishment fits the crime.

do onto others as you want done onto yourself . my kids are 7 and 9 and they both know if they WANT RESPECT THEY NEED TO GIVE IT FIRST!!! and they also know if they do something wrong they WILL BE PUNISHED. if my kids TELL ME WHAT TO DO they know they will lose what it was they wanted from me in the first place.

lack of discipline is sad now days really sad.
