“Well, I finally got my pictures back from the developer! This was my first experience with Florida Jets and I must say that I was like a kid in a candy store! I had a great time and learned a lot that will help me succeed in the future. I helped Dean Wichmann crew his Bobcat with PST J600 power, he even let me at the sticks a couple of times! After a few flights on the cat we had a 600R laying around and decided to give her a little more push. The extra 2.5 pounds of thrust made a HUGE difference, cruise power was now flown at 1/2 power as opposed to the 3/4 stick with the standard 12 pounder. The AirPac boys were flying one of their F-15s on 600R power, I thought that it was quite impressive that an airplane that big flew with that little engine, I guess I don't have to worry about my Stingray being underpowered! I had a great time and got to meet a lot of nice people. I look forward to hitting some of the other big meets in the future!”
