Default RE: RC 10 GT worth it??

ORIGINAL: fourwheeler
1. The truck needs a pullstart and a one way bearing for the motor although I am unsure of the motor condition. (Repair or Replace?) If replacement is the way to go what should I get?

2. The throttle linkage is missing so what would be a good replacement for this?

3. The wheels appear to be stripped out in the center as the wheel nuts will not tighten past a certain point? Is this normal?
Any thoughts?????
1- I'd First try and find someone with a starter box and run the engine before you invest in a Pull start for it, no sense in throwing away $20. I agree a OS CVX .15 would serve you for a long time for about $80.
2-I never ran the stock throttle/brake linkage on my GT. all you need is a + shaped servo horn an a few of the other linkage pieces, It not that hard to set up at all.
3- the wheel thing is hard to say without seeing a picture, but what ever is wrong it can't be that big a deal to fix.

The Gt is by far the easiest ST to work on, And like Snyperx said, add the RPM arms and what ever you end up breaking. you'll have a very durable little ST for bashing
